I am on Ubuntu hoary. This is related to kannada-unicode content display.

In firefox and mozilla, I see some characters being rendered in telugu script and some in kannada script.

I removed the Sampige.ttf that comes with ubuntu and installed the Sampige.ttf from the SALRC website. (I also ran fc-cache)

I don't understand the reason for this problem. Please help.

This happens with sampada.net content but not with kannadasaahitya.com content.
